Top 5 News and Magazines Apps Performance in Dominican Republic Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the News and Magazines category in the Dominican Republic saw varied performance across the top 5 applications on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their weekly download and active user trends.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads ranging from around 328 to 775, peaking mid-August. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at approximately 11.6K and reaching a peak of 13.4K by late July, before stabilizing around 12.4K towards the end of the quarter.

CGTN – China Global TV Network experienced a significant spike in downloads at the beginning of July with 2.7K, but this declined sharply to below 200 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 1.5K in early July and decreasing to just under 300 by the end of September.

The app Tomorrow's Affairs showed a remarkable surge in downloads with a peak of 1.6K in early August. However, this was followed by a decline, with downloads dropping to around 43 by the end of September. Active users increased to 11.9K by early August, before settling back to around 6.9K by the end of the quarter.

Dailyhunt Xpresso News Cricket saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 381 in early September. Its active user base remained robust, starting at 16.9K and peaking at nearly 20K in late August, before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.

Finally, Way2News Daily News App experienced fluctuating download rates, with a high of 583 in mid-July and a low of 86 in late September. Active users showed a decline from 29.3K in early July to around 28.4K by the end of September.
